This contract is valid for the named mare, and neither the booking nor the
return privilege may be transferred without the consent of Coolcorron Stud.
 
Considerations:
In consideration of $__________, including a $__________ non-refundable booking fee, Stallion owner, Robert Splaine, agrees to breed the stallion Coolcorron Cool Diamond to the Mare’s Owner, named above.
 
Payment:
Mare Owner agrees to pay said amount as follows:

The booking fee is to be returned with this contract. The Mare Owner shall pay the balance of $__________plus relevant shipping fees before the semen is shipped. The Mare Owner agrees to have the mare examined by a veterinarian within 60 days after the last day insemination and to notify Coolcorron Stud whether she is "safe in foal" (pregnant) or not. A copy of the written report must be submitted to Coolcorron Stud within one month of veterinarian examination.

 
Live Foal Guarantee:
A live foal is described as a new-born foal that stands and nurses. In the event that Mare Owner’s mare does not produce a live foal, said Mare Owner is entitled to a return privilege for the same mare the following season only. This clause shall apply only if Coolcorron Stud is notified within 48 hours of the foal’s death. A statement of details by a licensed veterinarian must follow within 10 days or the return privileges are null and void. Coolcorron Stud shall have no further liability hereunder for servicing said mare. If after pronounced "safe in foal", the mare should miscarry, abort or prove barren. Mare Owner has the privilege of another shipment of semen for breeding during the current breeding season or the following year.

Coolcorron Stud will return stud fee (less booking fee and additional charges incurred) to Mare Owner once all attempts are exhausted to achieve a pregnancy.

 
Registration:
Stallion Owner agrees to execute necessary documents to enable Mare Owner to register the offspring of the breeding.
 
Death of Mare :
In the event that Mare dies, or in any way becomes unfit for breeding prior to the shipment of semen, this contract may be transferred to another mare of Mare Owner’s choice subject to agreement of Coolcorron Stud.

Every effort will be made to fulfil obligations to Mare Owner. However, Coolcorron Stud will not accept responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances that may arise which would prevent them from carrying out said obligations.
